Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand how StoryCraft collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data.
By using StoryCraft, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

By using StoryCraft, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

3. Data We Collect
We may collect and process account information such as your name, email address, password hash, billing plan, and account settings.
We may also collect user content such as prompts, uploaded files, images, scripts, captions, voice inputs, and generated outputs.
Other categories of data may include payment and billing information handled through our payment providers, technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, logs and usage information, connected account data such as social media account identifiers, permissions, tokens, and publishing metadata, as well as customer support communications and feedback.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and operate StoryCraft, create and manage generated content, authenticate users, secure accounts, manage subscriptions, credits, and billing, and operate third-party publishing integrations.
We also use your data to schedule and manage automated workflows, provide customer support, detect fraud, abuse, misuse, and security incidents, improve the performance, reliability, and safety of the service, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Moderation and Safety Checks
To help keep the platform safe and prevent misuse, StoryCraft uses automated safety systems to review prompts, uploaded content, and generated content.
These checks are used to prevent abuse of the platform, enforce our Terms of Service, reduce harmful or illegal content, and protect StoryCraft, its users, and third parties.
6. Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on the purpose, StoryCraft processes your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests such as service security, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and service improvement, and your consent where consent is required by law.
7. Third-Party Services and Integrations
StoryCraft may use or connect with third-party services such as payment processors, hosting and infrastructure providers, AI and media-generation providers, social media and publishing platforms, and analytics, security, and customer-support tools.
If you connect a third-party account, we process the data needed to provide the requested feature, such as authentication, scheduling, publishing, and account connection management.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply.
8. Google and YouTube Data
If you connect Google or YouTube services to StoryCraft, we may process Google or YouTube account data necessary to enable features such as authentication, channel connection, video upload, and publishing management.
If applicable, you may revoke StoryCraft’s access through your Google account security settings.
StoryCraft will only use Google or YouTube data to provide the requested integration features and will not use Google API data for unrelated advertising purposes.
9. Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
In general, account data is kept while your account remains active. Billing and transaction data may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Connected account data and tokens are retained only as long as needed to provide the integration or until revoked, expired, or deleted. Support and security logs may be retained for a limited period for operational and security purposes.
When retention is no longer necessary, data is deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
10. Account Deletion and Content Deletion
You may request deletion of your StoryCraft account at any time from the settings page.
Once account deletion is requested, the request takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Until then, you may continue to access your account only to download, export, and/or publish content already generated through the service.
Automated processes linked to your account, including scheduled publishing, recurring generations, and auto-sequences, will stop. Connected social media accounts and related publishing connections will be disconnected.
At the end of the current billing cycle, your account and the content linked to it will be deleted, including generated content, uploaded files, saved settings, workflows, and associated account data, except for data we must retain under applicable law for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, evidentiary, or compliance purposes.
11. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no internet-based service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your Rights
If GDPR or French data-protection law applies to you, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion of your data, request restriction of processing, object to certain processing, receive a copy of certain data in a portable format, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
To exercise your rights, contact us at [Support email].
13. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area.
When this happens, we aim to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms required under applicable data-protection law.
14. Children’s Privacy
StoryCraft is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify users through the website, the application, or by email. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
